According to the Decision No. 280-QD/DUK dated May 26, 2021 of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, at the proposal of the GIV Party Committee, the Standing Board of the Central AgenciesParty Committee decided to appoint H.E. Mr.DOAN Hong Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Inspector General asamemberof the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and as the Secretary of the Party Committee of GIV for the term2020-2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Mr. HUYNH Tan Viet, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies congratulated GIV Party Committee and Mr. DOAN Hong Phong, who has just been appointed as the Secretary of the GIV Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025. He hoped that in the coming time, Mr.DOAN Hong Phong would continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity of the GIV, using the practical experiences gathered over the years to lead the GIV to successfully fufill the assigned political tasks.

Mr.DOAN Hong Phong thanked the Party Steering Committee, the Party Committee, the Party Committees and Member Party Committees/Cells of GIV and especially the Party Executive Committee of the Central Agencies for confidence in him and assigning him the task. He further shared that the task was both a joy, an honor and a very tough task. He affirmed that with the new position, together with the Party Steering Committee, the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, leaders and employeesof the GIV, he would uphold the spirit of solidarity, strive to successfully achieve the goals of the Resolution of the XXIII^thGIV Party Committee Congress and well perform the political tasks that the Party and State hadgiven to the GIV.

TheSecretary of the GIV Party Committeehopedthat he himself and GIV Party Committee would continue to receive more attention, support and direction from the Party Committees of the Central Agencies in the process of performing their tasks as well as in the Party building work of the GIV.
