Special session of the United Nations General Assembly on Challenges and Measures to prevent and combat corruption and Strengthen international cooperation
The special session of the General Assembly on challenges and measures to prevent and combat corruption and strengthen international cooperation was held from 2 to 4 June 2021 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, pursuant to General Assembly resolutions 73/191 and 74/276, as well as decisions 74/568 and 75/562. This is the first ever United Nations General Assembly special session against corruption (UNGASS), with online and in-person participation of representatives from member states, regional economic organizations, civil society organizations, and observers all over the world. Under the direction of the Government Inspector General, the Government Inspectorate’s working group in charge of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) followed this Special Session via webcast.

Publicizing the conclusion on inspection in Da Nang
On 17 August 2020, Mr. BUI Ngoc Lam, Deputy Inspector General of Viet Nam chaired an online conference on publicizing the Inspection Conclusion on the observance of the lawson land management and use at Da Phuoc international urban zone project, Da Nang city. "Together we fight against corruption for the development" talk
Under the framework of the propagandic activities on the occasion of the Anticorruption Day, 09/12, Government Inspectorate of Vietnam cooperated with UNDP to hold the talk “Together we fight against corruption for the development” and exhibit the printed anticorruptive products, tools within the national, regional and international extent. Nearly 300 participants at the talk were the representatives from Central and Hanoi agencies, committees, branches; social and political organizations; international agencies and organizations; universities, research institutes.

On 26/11, the 13th Anti-corruption Dialogue between the Government of Vietnam and the donor community and international development partners under the theme “Anti-corruption preventive measures and asset recovery ” was held in Hanoi by the Government Inspectorate, Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the British Embassy. Opening the inspection profession fostering course K16/2014 to the inspectors from the Kingdom of Cambodia
On 18/11, under the cooperation program between the Government of Vietnam and Government of Cambodia as well as the agreement between Government Inspectorate of Vietnam (GIV) and the Ministry of National Assemble-Senate Relations and Inspectorate of Cambodia (MoNASRI), The Inspection Training School of GIV held the opening ceremony of the inspection profession fostering course to 20 officials of the MoNASRI. H.E Mr. Ngo Manh Toan, the professional teacher, Deputy Director of the Inspection School, H.E Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of GIV, H.E Mr. KenBunTha, the First Secretary of Cambodian Embassy in Vietnam and all the students of K16/2014 attended the Ceremony.
